I want to extend my 93 900rr 6". I understand now I will have to extend chain, brake line, and also possibly revalve shock. my question is do i have to lower the front or raise it or do anything to it?? Just got to talking to a pal the other day and he said that it messes with the ride height and steering. answers totally appreciated!!

 

it does mess with the ride. it changes the center of the bike. cornering is now the issue. the bike will be great in straight lines but hard in the corners. I have friends that did it and they did not have to lower the front. some people do it for the looks. if you plan on just doing straight line rides then do it. but if you like to corner then I would think twice.
