Brand new member here. Greeting. Speak french but my english is not so bad.

I would like to know the rims size front/rear of a 1998-99 Cbr900rr.

For the 92-97 model its front: 3.50x 16 and rear 5.50 x 17. I think its the same for the 98-99 model but i just want to be sure.

I forgot to ask one question.

I know that i can put a 190/ tire on the rear. But what will be the impact on the bike? Maybe the handling will be a little different.

 

Welcome to CBRF! I have a 190 on my 5.5in bandit rim. It came with the bike, but I do not like it on corners. The bike doesn't feel as stable as it should to really roll on the throttle the way I'd like to and would do with my CBR with a 190 on a 6in rim.
