Adjusting the shifter on a 900RR?????
Ok,
I have an interesting situation on my 95 900RR. Is there anyway to adjust the shifter lever to work better?
I've had the bike for almost 3 years. In those 3 years, 95% of the time, I can't get the bike to go into neutral at a full stop. If i'm slowing down, then I can click into neutral no problem. As long as i'm moving at more then 5 mph, it goes into neutral just fine. If i'm at a dead stop, it just will not go into neutral. I've tried the 1/2 upshift, i've tried shifting into 2nd and then down 1/2. It just won't go into second at a full stop.
I've never had this problem on any other bike i've ridden or owned. I have no clue what could be causing it. Is it something I can even adjust? I'm leaving for bikeweek sunday, and i'm spending tommorow working on the bike, so I have time to try some ideas out. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.[/align]

I've never heard of such a problem. Are you sure the clutch is adjusted correct and completely dissengaging with the lever pulled in? Some people run around not knowing how to properly adjust levers and simply cant pull it in far enough (with out hitting your hand) to get it dissengaged.
