Default 99 900 rr

What's up guys? I've got a 99 900 rr with 39,000 miles on it. I was wanting to buy a new 1000rr this year but don't know that I'll be able to now with the economy. Would it be worth it to fix my bike up or would I be better off to buy a new one? How many miles can I expect to get out of this bike? How expensive is an engine rebuild? The bike runs fine but has some minorcosmetic issues. It's been down once, needs fender eliminator, needs new exhaust. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Hi dude. I don't think there is some threshold limit on the mileage; anyway its a honda! what you expect, it built to last! It depends on how well you are taking care of her; with proper maintenance of course. There are a lot of guys here with the pioneer model in mint condition.

Sure enough a new RR will be tempting and at the same time I don't find any flaws in the 900 either.

i wouldnt upgrade yet, a buddy of mine has a 93 900 w/ 95K on the clock and it still drives strong as ever.
if you take care of them they WILL last.

The only problem is the reg/rec.
