Default 900rr head..yes or no

I have searched but can't find a definitive answer. Will a head from a 919cc (96-99 900rr) work on a 893cc (92-95 900rr) motor? Is the 919 just a bored out 893? If so it should work. I know there are a huge amount of differences in the motors like the stators and diff covers and what not. But will the head work? Yes or no?

Thanks but we found a complete 893 in good shape for 250.00 not to mention it comes with all kinds of other goodies and is somewhat local.
