I wouldnt recommend using a 520 on anything over a 600. And some shops frown on using them on a 600 even.

I've been running 520's on all of my bikes and never had an issue, just keep it clean keep it lubed. Yeah they aren't going to last 30000 miles, but I have gotten 10000 miles out of a 520 chain and sprocket kit. As far as not using on anything over a 600, sorry but chains are a lot better now a days and will withstand the abuse. I have a superbike built 06 GSXR 1000 and I am replacing the chain and sprockets next week, just because they have been on the bike for two years, not a whole lot of noticeable wear, that would make me want to worry about.

To answer the original question, just about any sprocket company make a 520 kit for the 900rr. I use Vortex, because they pay contingency.

I was doing the 520 conversion with a 98 900RR this weekend with a Renthal 404U-520 48 tooth count rear sprocket. The sprocket does not fit the cush drive at all. I was told to check the wheel since it maybe aftermarket but it's the stock CBR black spoke wheel. Renthal told me that the 404U sprocket should fit 92-99 CBR models. Any suggestions on how to find out why it don't fit the cush?

Maybe the sprocket was marked and packaged wrong, it happens. Post a picture.
