2015 CBR 650f - Gas Gauge problem
So, I have had my 650 for over 2 years now. I love it and all, but about 3 months ago my gas gauge started acting weird.
I noticed I was not getting the mileage I used to. I didn't think anything of it. Figured it was because of the old tire and maybe the way I ride. I replace the tire when I did my oil change. Still, was getting odd miliage. I don't usually think about anything when filling it up, but I noticed something. I was only putting in 2ish gallons at a time. But my gauge says it is close to empty!
Anyone have any idea why my gauge is suddenly off? Is there a calibration or maybe I need to replace the mechanism inside the tank? I wanted to ask here before I go talk to experts. I enjoy working on my stuff like this. I would prefer if I did it myself, if possible.

Hi, do you have broken readings on your fuel gauge, that is not all segment lit, if so it could be your fuel sensor inside the tank, but you would have to get the pump out to try it, Pink wire from pump to the Instrument cluster
It reads full to empty. Even 'reserve' when it is supposed to be that low. But it is never that low. No missing segments or anything.
Awesome. I will give that a look first. I will report back with my findings. This was a weird problem I could not find anywhere else, so hopefully someone in the future will find this useful, as I have.
