Is it worth it?
 

so I went to my local Honda shop and they have a 07 rr with a little over 12,000 miles on it. They're asking $4,995. The bike is sharp as hell, but I've only owned 1 bike before and it was a CBR 600 F2. I'm pretty sure it's a good deal, just wanted to get some input for more experienced riders.

How does that price compare to the selling prices of similar bikes in your area?

10 year old bike, low mileage, decent shape. Seems like a decent deal, but make sure to look it over before you buy it.

I just moved here (Iowa) about 9 months ago, so I'm not real sure. All the bikes on Craigslist in this condition seem to be a little higher priced. I found a 01 zx6r for $1,800, but my 1st bike was a cbr and I loved it, so I'm a Honda guy. Found a few older cbr's, a couple f3's and a f4i for around $2,500. From all the research I've done, it seems the 07 RR is a grey bike, so I think that if all is good with it (like I said, it's at a dealership) I'm pretty positive that I'm gonna get it. Should be tomorrow or Monday. I'll post pics when I get it.

If you are happy with the deal, then it's worth it.
