Default Is this worth it?

Hey guys, So I'm new to the site here but looking for some input.

I came across a 2006 CBR600RR Tribal Orange. It has a Yoshimura RS-5 Slip-On, Power commander 3, and lowered on adjustable suspension. It is in immaculate condition with 8,000 miles. It does need new tires though. The guy is asking $5,500 but have talked him down to $4,800 and he'll throw in an Icon Full leather padded jacket, HJC Helmet, and Leather Alpine stars gloves.

So does $4,800 sound like a good deal with the extra's he'll throw in? Thanks in advance!

Okay. Thanks for the replies guys. I got to test drive it yesterday and it is really nice! Although I think I may change it back to stock height, as I am 5"11'.

Since we're asking about prices, looking at picking up an 05 rr for $4300 w/ 6000 miles. It needs new chain and sprockets and new rear tire. I feel it's a good deal, am I wrong on this?

Outside of needing a new tire and chain/sprockets, it's in really good shape. There are a few little/light scuffs here and there from just general use. It's not through the paint or anything like that, they just show easily because it's the all black scheme.

I don't know much about bikes, still learning, but is a sproket suppose to wear out with that little amount of miles. That would make me question how it was ridden......Just my opinion

The chain is rusted from sitting around. The guy that currently owns it stores it inside, but who know what the PO did.
When replacing a chain, you do all of them at once. This is so that the chain and sprockets wear together. It's like if you go and put someone else's shoes on. Yeah they fit, but you can feel how the padding in them doesn't feet to your feet.

I didn't know that. How many miles do yhou usually get on a chain and sprocket set.
