Did you do it yourself or the shop do it for you?

Glad it worked out for you. Electrical problems are something I think all people hate to deal with. I still think $400 labor is crazy to swap out the ECU.

So I guess the $400 was a bit of a "misunderstanding". I called the shop when they opened back up and asked again about the labor, letting them know that I was just going to tow the bike home and do it myself at the previously quoted price. Apparently they only wanted $150 for installation and putting the bike back together, so I went for it.

I know that makes me soft, but the time and money spent towing works out to more than that at my current job, so I let them do it. I'm just happy to have my bike back. Well, happy doesn't even begin to describe it. Two months without riding was way too much for me.
