hey put this fire out, I have a cbr 600rr and im trying to find out what this wire is dangling on the inside of the brake lever chamber. It is grey in color with a black spool on it and a spring with hooks

 

I've read your posting in both areas.... I have an 05 CBR600 also. I will look at mine to see what you are talking about. You are talking about the brake lever right, not pedal. Does your brake light work with both the lever and pedal? Tell me more and I'll go check mine out.

 

yes the light works and everything else thats why i tought it was wierd to see that on a new bike u know

 

it is located on the inside area of the back brake pedal and it looks like its coming from the midddle fairing

 

I know what you mean... wires shouldn't be hanging on a new bike.... answer my questions from my other post and I'll check mine out for you.

 

ok the wire is grey in color and its not on the brake lever itself its behind it like if u take off the back brake foot pedal it would be dangling there where u can see because its un covered. go directly to the pedal u press with your foot and look up about6 inches and there is a wire there
