interesting idea w the one orange rim, looks good, how was the RS-5 install? im waiting for the spring to install. Any plans to clean up tail more?

well truthfully, it was kinda a pain. that was my first time taking everything apart and it went slow. i think i put almost 3 hours into it. make sure that you unbolt everything. even after its unbolted, it will still feel like its not. be careful and it will come apart. the new stick on "heat shield" was a little confusing. you just have to put the pieces up under the tail and figure out where they fit. i have a lot of pictures on another forum i could link you to if youre interested

Looks good are you just gonna leave one rim painted or planning or getting the other one done?

really? hmmm, i plan on picking a Saturday this spring/summer and installing at a buddies house (garage) ill def take my time, and take vids and pics along the way .

oh ya the new stick on heat shield? do you mean the one thats already on our bikes, or did you get one w your pipe? i just have pipe, w mid pipe all in one.

yeah the metal heatshield comes out and the new one is foil tape. it comes in two sheets and you have to cut out the shapes, fit them and stick them on. im just very picky about how it looks so it took me a little while.

Great thx for the link! Guess i have the foil tape then (havent really opened the plasitc bag) will tonight Your RR looks awesome btw! Some guys said they dont bother w it, others install it? also im assuming ill have a new gasket as well?

I love the look of that pipe. It looks great and makes me want to pull the trigger on one. Where did you order it from?

The wheel looks pretty cool too. Is it red or orange? I had thought about silver or white for my factory wheels. Bike looks good man.
