Will 2007-08 Fairings fit 2009-2012 (CBR 600RR)

Does anyone know if the 2007-08 fairings will fit the 2009-2012 (do the holes line up)?

If you search google, you will find some people on other forums that have made it work.

Is it a direct swap - No.

But with a few modifications, you can make it work, IIRC.

Didn't the later models get plastics that cover the whole engine? I much prefer the earlier bikes (2007-2008)...
