RE: Why i miss my KAWI
simple answer to your problem. Stop whining n sell the bike n buy a pos kawi.
Its a 08, the parts will come give it tyme. Its not as comfortable because it more a race bike than a 2001 anything was. Its a 600, its made to twist it for the power. Three, the 600RR would suck that 2001 kawi up and spit it out.
Cant help ya on the serving cost, I do all my own work lol.
Thanks for serving [sm=americanasmiley.gif]

RE: Why i miss my KAWI
I used to have a '04 636 (my first bike) got rid of it and got my '06 600rr and what a HUGE diff between the 2. I dont look back at all, I heart my Honda. the Kawihandled like ****, I was scared to enter a sweeper turn. however I am intrigued at how the new ZX-6rlook. Iwanna try oneout and see if they can handle better.

Props to you for speaking you mind. Maybe Honda just isn't for you. To each their own. But...
Honda is known for being faster than it feels... that is part of the handling package.
Kawasaki is known for raw power and feeling fast.
The $200 is a jip for any brand, but is typical of dealerships. Don't think for one minute that it's only Honda...
Ultimately, you have to go with what YOU like. It sounds to me like that it Kawaski. I guess its time for you to place an ad in Craigslist!

No one should have to pay for a 600mi service. I think a lot of places do it for free too. My dealership does, but I don't like people touching my things so I have tools at work and at home. If I didn't have tools at home, I would go buy a few screwdrivers, an oil filter wrench, some hex wrenches, and a drain pan, and thenperform my own service.
