Default Who here rides year round'?

About to get my settlement check for my f4i,and about to purchase a RR! Getting down a little bit because the warm weather will soon be gone. I bought my F4i in March and the weather was still cold. I am planning on riding year round. The winter in TN gets kind of cold, sometimes 10 deg, with windchill that's going to be insane. This RR is going to be my daily driver unless rain or ice on the road.

soooo... who rides year round'???

I got my bike about 2 or 3 months ago.... I plan on riding year round... but Florida doesn't exactly get cold... if anything-Summer weather sucks more because it's too hot and the rain is harder to predict.

Shouldn't ride if its less that 32 degrees. Black ice will kick your ***.

I'm in Northern TX, and I ride year round. Except when it's icy out or snow. I just wear a hoodie under my leather coat, no problem.

+1 to that. Even slightly above 32 degrees, you will have black ice present, as ice that forms when it is cooler over night doesn't instantly melt. You can hit a patch on a car and usually recover, but you hit black ice on a bike and say goodnight.

I live in va and I ride year round unless there is snow on the ground.

I wear a balcava, sweatshirt under my leather and then a waterproof liner ontop on my leather jacket to deflect more wind & it has a small collar. Then it's just insulated leather gloves, jeans and a warm layer under them, then some thermal socks or something and boots. ( for long rides I'll put a ziplock bag or something over my foot before putting my boots on, helps alot
