Default Whats better PCIII and the PCV?

Hey everyone, Im going to be picking up an 06 cbr600rr in a few weeks, (huge upgrade from my last bike which was a 96 car 600F3) and I want to get a power commander because it already has an aftermarket pipe on it and I want to put on a K&N air filter.

Which is the better choice between the power commander III and V? I just want to fix the fuel/air ratio that will be distorted because of the filter and pipe.

Any thoughts?

the PCV has way more features, and isnt it the same price, hands down get the PCV.
plus you can get auto tune for the price of a dyno tune. not sure if autotune is good but i wish i would of gotten a pcv for my bike

well can't i just put the fuel map on it from the website according to what you have for a slip on and or air filter? if I could get the PC3 for cheaper because I won't be using all the options and features of the PC5, wouldn't that be better?

i guess you are buying used, because PC3 = 295 PC5= 303, from what i can see unless there is a site getting rid of them all for no profit.
the pc5 is smaller, can store an additional map you can toggle to (with the hardware), and has better support for the dual stage fuel injection your bike has.
but yeah, they test a doner bike that someone lets them borrow, put on the exhaust and do dyno runs and release a map with that info.
but that is someone else's bike, not yours. it will be ok but the best thing for your bike is a custom tune.

ok, but the downloadable map will work better than not having a PC at all, and good enough until I have the extra cash for a custom tune (I am buying a bike after all, so not a whole lot of extra money to throw around)
