A lot of companies are revising their motorcycle coverge to better suit the actual state of motorcycles today. i was lucky and got grandfathered into the old plan where it is SOULY based off displacement. if i cancled my policy and bought anouther motorcycle, i'd pay 10 times as much.

****ty,but it's hard to get insurance on just a bike with alot of the big company's. Talk to your agent about maybe buying a life insurance policy or maybe moving your car into your name. Your overall insurance maybe cheaper by lumping them together. I got a life insurance policy through shelter ins for 19 a month. Talk to the agent.

P.S.- I got shelter ins. they usually don't cover sport bikes,but my agent ****ed up and approved coverage for me, then 2 months later tried to take it away since i bought an rr. Told them we would sue em if they didn't let me finish out the year since i had already paid for it. They agreed to let it go through the rest of the year then they would cancel me. They keep sending me renews and I keep paying. ****um if they don't catch it.

Before I bought my bike I asked as many people as I knew that had a bike and found State Farm to be the cheapest hands down- If you add a vehicle to your policy it makes the bike insurance even lower- I know w/o my truck on there my agent said it would jump from $32/month to like $90-100/month. They are good people, and easy to work with. State Farm - 2 thumbs up

 

my dad just went and got a insurance policy for my bike which is a 2k5 600rr and its 250 a year which is about 20 bucksa month i havent gotten a payment yet what do those run for a 7200 dollar loan.

I was lucky enough to have my parents agree to put me on their insurance with my dad as the primary. We pay $1200 per year for the both of us. Full coverage, 2007 CBR 600rr.
