holy f*ckn sh*t i cant wait until im 21 im 19 and my insurance thru allstate fuul coverage is $175 a month!! it f*ckn sux i ot 2 speeding tickets too though....

 

27 years old had progressive wanted me to pay $260.00 a month on an 07' 600rr clean record, I kid u not, I had that kind of quote when i was twenty!! Went to State Farm currently paying $21.00! I don't know how u can go from $260 to $21 dollars? Go with State Farm man...they seem to be the only ones that have some sort of conscious when it comes to motorcycle insurance!

 

State Farm is who I'll be going with. I just purchased a 2004 CBR 600RR and was quoted at $60.00 a month full coverage or $20.00 a month liability. When I turn 25 it will drop to $30.00 for full coverage a month. This is in S. Carolina though. Also, the reason State Farm rules is because they see engine size, not sports bike. So a CBR600 compared to a harley with a 1300 is considerable smaller, so the inusrance is going to be smaller. At least that is what my agent said to me. Anywho they beat everyone elses prices hands down!!!! I think the only catch to them is you need to have car insurace with this as well. They wont do just moto insurance alone and you can't have a record. I know they wouldn't take my buddy because he had one speeding ticket. Hope this helps. And Hi all!!!! This is my first post! I have state farm.. 32years old 300 a year full coverage on my 07 rr. i also have 2 other cars insured+ my house+my life.. oh yea and 2 dui... good luck..

 

Well I called 3 places today. The cheapest was State Farm at $900 a year for full coverage. 22 years old, NO TICKETS OR ANYTHING! but I have never had insurance on my own and I am only insuring my bike... no house or car (truck is under my dad's). But in michigan u only ride about 7 months so I will take collision and liability off in the winter. So i figured it will cost me about $530 a year for insurance. Hopefully when I am 23 the rate will go down. I think insurance has alot to do with your location and not just age. Because everyone I know pays at least $200-$300/year just for comprehensive and liability... no collision. Does this sound really ****ty or is it about right. I dont know who else to call. Called State Farm, All state, and progressive. Progressive being the worst of all.

 

DAMN...... I'm getting raped then. I'm paying $27/month for liability from Progressive. They told me that full coverage on my '04 600RR would be $3000/year. Bikes have been stolen around my apt lately... so comprehensive insurance looks better everyday. I'm going with State Farm when mine expires cause this is bullsh*t. You say I need to have my truck insured with them also?

P.S.---the reason they won't take your friend is because he's too young. State Farm only insures drivers under 21 if they have a spotless record.

 

Yea they tend to give you a better rate for having multiple vehicals insured with them... good luck Id ask them first if you get a better rate if you switch both to them..

About 90 a month for me. Full coverage but 1000$ deductible.. I called pretty much every insurance place around and they quoted me around 5k a year, untill I found an agent. (wtf?)

 

I just called my agent to try and figure out how much it would be when i got my bike. They said $120/month with full coverage, and I'm only 16.

 

$323 a year with Country Insurance. 31 years old. $100 deductible for comp. and $250 deduc. for collision.
