Default UK Motorbike Insurance

If you are from the UK and have a CBR 600RR, reply and let me know who you are with? I've had a few quotes so far, and the cheapest is a grand. Mind you, I can't find my NCB which is really starting to annoy.

Ok so i've had a few quotes.. and the cheapest?? wait for it...

£1199.46 fully comp, if you are in the US, I think it's like 2 usd to the pound, so yeah, that works out at around 2400 usd, for the year!! I might add that I don't have any no claims discount. On the car I have 5 years, but that means nothing on a bike.

£553.51 TPFT

I have an 07cbrRR, i'm 19 and i've got 1 year NCB and my insurance is £749.99 with H&R Insurance.

The best thing to do is go to www.moneysupermarket.com and put your details into there, thats how i found mine hope that helps.

The top one, 'compare bike insurance with the bike insurer' basically it saves you having to put all your details into different insurance websites, that searches all of them at once and gives you the best prices depending on what you are looking for ie: third party fire and theft, fully comprehensive etc. [sm=nerd.gif]

Yeah thanks anyways. I remember I tried that before. Just did it again, and the cheapest is like 1050. Managed to get it for 950 with an excess of 350 which sounds a bit better, over the phone yesterday. I'll just have to bite the bullet and pay it.Only passed test on 2nd May and have an SP30 on my license (speed fine with 3 points), which won't help matters! Just to rub salt in the wound, I've had a couple bikes previously, but can't remember who I was insured with so there goes my couple years no claims.

Having said that, I've got the British Insurance Body on it now, who should be able to tell me the name of the company,at the cost of a tenner! F***ers.

Dude, how did you manage only 500 for TPFT?

That means I am totally getting wroughted as I pay almost a £1,000 for just TPFT and not even comprehensive.

Man you're getting shaffted! lol 495 TPFT, I could get that at a few places. Just got fully comp for 849!!!! Bargain.

Try Bikesure, they are a broker, who sorted me out. That or Ibis, who gave me a good quote. And I only passed my test like 6 days, ago, NO no claims bonus and a speed fine with 3 points on my license! I'm 26 (27 this weekend).
