Im pretty new to the whole bike scene...but the mods r coming along slowly but surely...got the flush mounts and fender eliminator on the way..but my ? is. Im lookin into gettin a 2 bros slip on for my 600..now wen i went to the main site they show 2 different series slip ons...the m-2 and m-5.. and im just curious if thier is ne difference between the 2 cuz thier all priced about the same. ne help will be appriciated...thanks

welcome to the forum. I asked a similar question about a month ago. If you go a few pages back in posts to around 6/9/06 there is a post titled "not another exhaust question". RKT GRL (sorry if i got the name wrong) posted a reply that explains it . Biggest diff is size of exhaust opening under seat. Good luck

 

You're right FF, the M-5 has a bigger exhaust opening than the M-2. That's really the only diff, that and probably the sound as a result of it.

 

WHATS UP? JUST WANTED TO SAY I HAVE THE M-2 ON MINE AND MY FRIEND HAS THE M-5, HIS IS A LITTLE LOUDER , BUT ITS ALMOST NOT ENOUGH TO NOTICE. BOTH ARE SWEET PIPES THOUGH. WELL RECOMMENDED TO GET. HAVE A FEW OTHER FRIENDS THAT HAVE THE JARDINE RT-1(RACE BAFFLE). TWO BROS IS LOUDER AND SOUNDS MEANER. NOT SURE IF THIS WILL HELP YA IN YOUR DECISION BUT THOUGHT IT MIGHT HELP. KEEP IT REAL.
