My 06 came with a full tool kit, but it wasn't in the bike. the sales guys remove them becasue people steal them all the time. same for the owners manuel.

I actually don't like where the tools are placed in the bike.

does anyone else have the same opinioN? Or is it just me?[&:]

Wow. Those of you that got toolkits should feel pretty special. I got my 06 and the dealer says some comment like, "There is a toolkit inside the right fairing on your bike and it includes a helmet strap."
I went home and started to explore my new addition to the family and looked into the "toolkit".
I got this plastic bag, allen wrench that is toothpick thin, and a helmet strap. I was so overjoyed that honda gave me all of these great tools that render themselves absolutely useless.
That was just me going off on a tangent. Moral to the story is remove that crap and you just freed up 2 oz. of weight. So now I can get around the twisties much faster.
