Default Timing a 2005 CBR600rr

Question for anyone knowledgeable with timing these engines. I re-timed my 600rr engine the other day after a complete rebuild, the intake and exhaust marks on the respective cams are parallel with the head however, the mark next to the T on the crank doesn't perfectly line up with the mark on the side cover. It appears to be between the T and the I. I didn't replace the timing chain when I rebuilt this engine, I'm wondering if the chain is stretched or if maybe I didn't get the timing perfect. I don't have any picture right now, I'll get some later to illustrate this a bit better. Any advice is welcomed.
