Default Are these Sprockets a fair price?

Just wondering if this is a good deal or not. Front and rear sprockets with the hub. Also how far away from stock are the sprocket sizes?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMESE%3AIT
Thanks,
Bri

The front sprocket is 1 tooth less than stock and the rear sprocket is 3 more teeth than stock. This will increase your acceleration but cut down on your top end speed some. The seller doesnt say the brand of sprockets so that will mean a lot toward their price. New vortex sprockets for those same sizes will run you about $36 for the front and $67 for the rear. A thing you want to remember is that sprockets and chain are some of the most important aspects on your bike and you really dont want to skimp on those areas. Just a thought.

at Dennis Kirk.com, a 15 tooth sprocket is only 21 bucks

Im sure you could find a 45 tooth sprocket for a good price bran new.

I would just buy the new ones opposed to buying used ones off ebay.

I contacted him- he said the front was a Renthal sprocket, and the rear is a JT. Does that make it a decent deal?
Thanks,
Bri

Renthal is a good brand. Never really have used JT. It is a good deal price wise but this is almost the same as buying used tires for your car. You are taking somewhat of a chance with it.
