This guy was prob about 40 and i was 19. The best part is the next day my friend comes up to me in school and appologised. it was her dad driving and she was in the car at the time. lol. it was awsome.

Most of the time the cagers never just dont see motorcycles. You were all probably going way over the speed limit when they "cut you off". Make yourself more visible and dont ride like an idiot. Id love to have some little punk get out of their car and come storming at me. HAHAHAHA how fun it would be to knock them out in the middle of the street.

This wasn't on my bike but I was beginning to turn left on a green arrow and some guy blew through the light at about fifty and almost t-boned me. I found him at a gas station about four blocks away and pulled in to give him a few choice words. He stepped out of the car and said "Why don't you get out and say that to my face?" So I got out of my durango and walked up to him screaming at him. He thought he was real tough and was about 5'4" and about 120, and I'm 6'3" and about 270. Needless to say he apologized, got back in his car and took off as fast as possible. The clerk inside was watching through the window and was laughing his a** off.

RE: tell us about wat u did
Worse thing I did was smash the mirror of a guy who didn't even look.
I was taking a left on a green and in mass you can turn right on a red. (only after at complete stop)
Taking a turn without stopping he basically rode right next to me not even seeing me and then when I knock on his window to let him know I was right next to him he flipped me off. So at that point I pointed to my eyes telling him to look where he was going. He flipped me off again, so with my right hand I smashed his mirror, flipped him off and rode away.
Ignorant P O S!

Nice road rage stories guys...
I can't stand "road ragers" and they have serious coping issues...I don't get why people feel the need to teach other drivers a lesson when someone makes a mistake (in or out of a cage), like we never make mistakes...what do cagers feel like when we go blasting by them going 90-160mph, lane splitting and weaving in and out of traffic?
I might complain under my breath, but I don't feel the need to teach any one a lesson, break their property, yell or show profanity...I pretty much keep my distance from cagers because I've heard some pretty bad stories about road raging people in cars targeting bikes...remember the guy that purposely rear ended the bike sending him into a pole and killing him...
People are crazy and I refuse to match their insanity, I stay calm, say a prayer and ride on like nothing happened...I focus on evasion, not revenge, so if you cut me off, you go on my driving **** list and I'll keep my distance.
Be careful guys and stop riding up to the side of cars to yell or flip them off...let it go and ride on...if you didn't get hurt or crash, then it's "no harm, no foul..." really, it's not that big of a deal!

I'll be honest here. I went through a period of my life (back in my late 20s-early 30s) where I was a bit prone to road rage like what I'm reading here. Part of it was who I was married to at the time too. Things going on in your life at the time DO have a rather far-reaching influence on your behavior as a rider / driver whether you're aware of it or not. We're all a "package deal".
Thank God I didn't ever hurt anyone or get hurt either. Did some very stupid stuff. One day woke up and said to myself, "man what's gotten into you!!?? You aren't helping the situation. You aren't changing anything for the better & very potentially for the worse! Will what this idiot did matter tomorrow? How bout 5 days from now? 5 years??
But if you get in a terrible accident as a result of your own road rage & hurt either yourself or another for life, or someone dies, it's gonna matter ALWAYS and FOREVER!!
So I quit.
About the same time, while I had been racing cars in SCCA pretty serious, I really got deep into racing, going to track days, taking advanced driving schools at Mid Ohio, Road Atlanta, etc. I won the North Carolina State Championship in Autocross B-stock class, etc. All of that had a deep impact on me as a driver. The road is NOT the track. I must abide by the rules, and as an advanced driver with racing credentials I have a responsibility to avoid creating more danger & escalating tensions. With all of my training & experience, I realize that I can out-drive most ever typical driver I ever come across on the road. I'm 10 times more aware of what's going on than the average "seat warmer" behind the wheel.
So I just leverage my expertise to keep me & my passengers alive & safer than most. I use my superior skills & judgment to make up for the mistakes, rage & idiocy of others out there. When someone cuts me off, I just shake my head, smile to myself & deal with it professionally - thankful I don't drive like that, and I can overcome there lack with my own decisions & training.
Please understand, I have taken the opportunity to "educate" a few folks after "incidents". Here's one example.
Driving along in the Vette. Guy pulls out clueless & forces me deep into the brakes along with a lane change to miss him. I smile, shake my head, go through my mental "thank God I'm a driving instructor & SCCA licensed racer thought pattern". Then lo and behold an opportunity arises!! Dude pulls in at a BP station I'm planning to fuel at. I pull in too. He's looking kinda stunned & maybe pissed. No problem. I step out. Force a grin to my face & wave & say in a friendly tone, "howdy man...guess you're glad I'm driving a Corvette!!?? (you gotta say something that really gets their attention & is rather unexpected). He's like huh??? I go on, "when you pulled out & cut me off back there when you came onto Hwy 53, you forced me to get hard on the awesome brakes on this car & I had to rely on about 17 years of racing & driving instructor's experience to avoid an accident. It could've killed you, me, or both of us. But you got off cause you pulled out in front of the right guy driving the right car!! If I were you, I'd go right inside and buy a lottery ticket today my friend, it's your lucky day!!!!"
Dude is like STUNNED!!! Amazed!! Kinda humble & meek. He just goes "man I'm sorry, I didn't see you till the last moment!" I've kept the grin on my face the whole time so it keeps things cool, I just say, "Appology accepted. We all make mistakes on the road cause we're human. I'm just trying to help ya stay alive - take care!"
I feel good. My point is made. Maybe he'll be more careful. Hopefully someone's life gets saved out of my efforts, etc.
Works for me! MUCH better than what I used to do too.
Obviously I don't always get the opportunity, but I'm ready for it when it comes.
One more quick story. Driving on I-285 through Atlanta. My copilot is with me
