i bought a targa tail eliminator for my 09 and after a few hours riding, the wires apparantly got too close to the muffler and burnt into each other. I figured that jacket that came with them would protect against this. The wires run between the muffler and the bracket so there is very little room to play with. has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it?

 

contact the dealer and tell them about the problem, youre probably not the first to come across this. so I bet its safe to assume that they have an answer for you.
