Also how about the Icon one. I want something small thats not going to get in the way or clash. The cortech is nice but its to square for my taste .[/align][/align]its a bitch with the plastic tank and i dont want to use a backpack, it makes me feel uncomfortable over 80

I ride the Icon Primer tank bag... its great, small, and holds a ton of crap. Only thing is that you have to take off your tank plastic and glue some magnets in there, because the front and back dont stick all that well. The side however are fine. I think you can see pictures of it if you look in my gallery.

 

ahhh, i read about people doing that. If i cant find a nice strapped one ill add that to the list of things to do over the winter.

 

sorry to go of the topic here a little but what are good tail and tank bags for '06 because me and my buddies are taking a trip toCanada in JUNE to see F1 racing and i need some storage space.

 

it is so easy to glue the magnets inside the tank plastics... magnetic is the way to go straps are a pain on the tank do not do it.

 

^^ I've never thought of that and DAMN is that a good idea. I'm going to have to let my buddy know. He commutes 400+ miles from Los Alamos, NM to Las Cruces every weekend on his Graffiti 600RR, and he'll be pleased if it works. He has so many damn straps holding that tank bag down.

 

i will have to look into it, yeah i dont want straps but i want that **** strong.. id like to be able to pull the bike over with the bag.

HA, I just used some household magnets, but if you can find stronger ones, then have at it. I used ones that were like 3/8 inch thick and like 1/2 inch in diameter, and I put two side by side per application. You could go with one larger on and make iteasier that way. Easiest way is to do it with a buddy. Have him hold up the plastic while you get the bag on there the way you want it, and then put the magnets underneath so you can see where you need to glue them, mark, and then glue.

I'm having some trouble picturing your instructions. What do u mean by have your buddy hold up the plastics, which plastics exactly? I would like to do this cause my stupid Icon Bag wont stick. If you would provide the dummy instructions for doing this, it would be great. Thanks man....
