Alright CBR Gurus I need some help...

Im considering a 600RR as my next bike...but Im not a track junkie im a stunt junkie...but I still like tinkering in things that others may find interested...and I like my stunt pieces to be one of a kind...if that makes sense to anyone else but me lol

anyways back on topic...I wanna ditch the uni-pro swingarm and shock

I kno the 600RR swing arm can be bolted on to a F4i, and I have no doubt that I could work a F4i swingarm onto the RR...buuuut still too boring to me...

I saw a guy who put an SP2RC-51 swingarm on a F4i....so I was wondering if it would be possible to put one on a 600RR? and ditch the upsidedown shock for a conventional one?

The frame and the swing arm have to be machined a little to get them to fit together properly and line up straight...but I really dont see why I couldnt do it on a CBR600RR?

Any info from people who have extensive knowledge on these bikes would be great.

I think worse comes to worse...Im gonna buy the RC-51 Swing arm and a Blank RR frame and swingarm and start lineing them up with each other and see where it goes from there.

 

If you want/need to sell the 600RR swing arm and it's an '03-'04 I'd be interested in buying it from you.

 

Anything can be done with the time, money, and patience... you just need to determine if its worth it

I guess what I am asking is, is how plausable this swap would be.
