TRIBUTE TO A FALLEN BIKER

HE’S GONE AWAY, AND YET HE’LL STILL BE THERE
WHENEVER BIKERS GATHER WE’LL TAKE CARE
TO SAY HIS NAME WITH REVERENCE PROFOUND
FOR TIM WAS ONE OF US AND STOOD HIS GROUND
HE LIVED AND DIED, AND KEPT THE BIKER’S CODE
HE’D HELP A FELLOW BIKER, SHARE HIS LOAD,
WE’D LAUGH AND JOKE AND SHARE SOME HAPPY TIMES
IT’S PAINFUL NOW, FOR HE FELL IN HIS PRIME
HE’LL NEVER CHANGE, WILL ALWAYS STAY THE SAME,
AND NEVER KNOW OLD AGE, OR HURT, OR PAIN
AND BE WITH US AS HAPPY MEMORY
A BROTHER LOST, BUT NOW HIS SOUL IS FREE
HE DIED THE WAY MOST BIKERS SEEM TO GO
A BLUR, AN IMPACT, NOTHING LEFT TO KNOW
NO PAIN, NO HURT, BUT RIDING ON TO FIND
THE ONES WHO WENT BEFORE, AND PEACE OF MIND
WE MISS HIM NOW AND YET THE PAIN WILL PASS
A TRIBUTE TO HIS MEMORY WILL LAST
BEYOND THE DAYS OF MOST LACKLUSTRE MEN
FOR TIM WAS ONE I KNEW, AND CALLED HIM FRIEND.

Shadow1, still grieving.......

Get a life, you Muppet, and good riddance.......

Dude, I completely agree with you 100%.... It pisses me off to the point that I really only use this site as a technical reference anymore for how to fix some wiring, because heaven forbid I agree that its okay to ride without gloves or buy a 600 to start....

Typical conversation on this board looks like:

"Hey will a 240 fit a 2004 600RR?"
"Why would you do that!? Youre just wanting to show off! Why ruin a great piece of technical engineering! You'll die just trying to stunt it. I've seen a guiy with a 240 and he wrecked, you will too!"

Actually once I asked about putting a 190 on a 600, and I learned that it sets off the bikes balance, etc.. and would be very hard to ride. If it wasnt for this forum I would have done it, waisted money, and potentially hurt myself. Dont come in here talking sh*t about us, we know what we are doing, and would all appreciate it if you show some support and make some friends before telling us all how to talk care of business. Thank you!

I haven't read any of your posts Mass ... but welcome to the forum. Grab a beer, get laid, and chill out.
