The Speedo Thing...no, not the bathing suit

RE: The Speedo Thing...no, not the bathing suit
ok, i guess its my turn. I started the whole speedo thing. In no way am I advocating riding like an idiot. I've been fortunate in that I've only had one friend die on a motorcycle. He was 18, straight out of highschool, riding throught the park going way too fast and hit a dumpster. Totally stupid. So just to reiterate what I said before, I was on a private runway, wearing pretty much the proper gear. I think everyone (well almost) has made bad decisions while riding. We are all in it for the speed and performance or we would be riding cruisers. Bottom line is this: don't exceed your own capabilities and use a little common sense. Nitwit out...

420, no need to defend yourself, it's just shoortbuss and I going back and forth, sharing our feelings/experiences on why/how we ride what most people consider death traps. And everyone on this site should feel like brothers, like a fraternity sort of. We are all connected by these machines.
Like Lrn2go says: "I'm not riding fast, I'm flying low."
And common sense seems to be a lost art in today's day and age.
