the problem that I see is that it looks like the plate would not be totally visiable from behind the motorcycle. I usually don't stop for this reason but here in Florida its a valid stop. But a fix it ticket beats a speeding ticket anyday.

If you look at it from an angle then yeah you can clearly see the tag. But looking at it straight from the rear, it is not completely visible. I went with the fender eliminator that puts the tag on the tail end of the pipe. Looks cool. Satisfies the need.
As for the loud pipes. As long as its not ear peercing loud we should be allowed to have loud pipes. I have heard jardines and they are loud if you are standing next too it. But throw on a helmet, wind noise, people in their cars with the windows rolled up and stereo blasting or talking on the cell phone and you need loud pipes so they can at least hear you if they can't see you.
I almost got run over 5 times this weekluckily they swerved back into their lane. They just couldn't see me. They heard me but couldn't see where I was. Atleast that's what I was told when we came to a stop at a light.
I've heard harley's that are waaayyyyy loud and the cops don't bother with them at all. I think its an age thing. They think young people are what ride sportbikes the most so they pull them over out of jealousy or have the god complex where they want to feel superior and teaching a lesson or something.
Most of them though won't bother with you unless you are doing something drastic. That's how it is around here anyways. Its a good thing there are a lot of military dudes that have sportbikes so the cops lay off of them.

i bought my bike with the kit on it already, ive had it for about 10 months and no prob. (YET knock on wood) but personally i dont see a prob with my kit. the only thing i can see is that when your riding the bike and run a red light if your city has cameras it wont pick up your bikes tag. i also have a YOSHI RS-5 exhaust
