I want to do a full exhaust but can't spend the money for another couple months. So I was going to put a slip-on on, and I am wondering if I could upgrade to a full exhaust later using the same slip-on? Does anyone know if I can even buy everything but the slip-on later if I already have it?

One last question. I didn't see a full exhaust system for the Two Brothers but I really like the look.

I also think you can do that with yosh pipes too, but you have to buy the headers from someone who sells just the headers (which is hard).

 

What is the power gain of doing just a slip on versus a full exhaust then?

 

slip on not much.
full system--power at high end and might lose some low end torque
if your going to use your bike on the track then i would get a full system, but if it is just around and backroad twisties then i would just get a slip on. most slip ons dont have to be mapped where as a full system would cost u a few more dollas for a power comdr.

 

You actually lose low end torque? I am not going to do the track, at least not yet. I just am more interested in increasing the power than the actual sound of my bike, though I must say I will appreciate the sound.

 

From my investigation I am pretty sure I can buy the Jardine headers and slip on seperatley. One last question (I think), the alluminum is about half of the price of the titanium. What is the performance difference between the two? Is it how hot they get?

 

Aluminum vs Titanium in the Corvette world is all about weight reduction primarily. Not sure in bike world, but would suspect the same???
