Skill Level ?

What is my skill level? I was just wondering where I stand as far as Riding skills I like to think that I am not an amature however as far as racing goes I definatly would be. I can controle my bike rather well but I would like to asses my skill. Does anyone know a course I could set up or an advanced riders course I could take that is relativly cheap ( I like to put all my money into the money pit.. I mean my bike).

Any advanced riding tips or test will be greatly appreciated. I can stop and balance for long periods, Turn very tight corners and stay in controle at high speeds but there is always somthing I could do to better myself.

Let me know Thanks.

RE: Skill Level ?

I know the MSF from your local DMV should have an advanced riders course. I dont know who geared towards racing it is but I know its def a good course to fine tune skills and its a step up from the beginners. I know you also use your own bike for this course unlike the beginner u use theirs

I think you should try a track day. You could test your skills without distractions like traffic and gravel - it's basically just you and your bike. You don't necessarily need to consider it RACING or compare yourself to other riders, but you'll know how well you handle the bike by how comfortable you feel on the track. You can test your skills at braking, shifting, throttle control, line selection, and body position.
