i am still new to riding but bought a new 600rr...havent dropped it yet (knock on wood) but have been being super careful...still scared of it...lol

 

All sport bikes get used, by that i mean i didn`t buy my 1000RR to go 20mph on. So its how its been treated thats important does it have service history? preferably at the dealer. Is it reasonable miles for the age? Any receipts for mods? Take a friend along who`ll try and convince you its a bad idea and you`ll draw out the bad points you may not have seen yourself. I would recomend used for a 1st bike but it up to you, it`s cheaper and if anything happens its a lot easier to stomach. When you settle into riding you can go buy a new one that will have only been ridden by you. Theres nothing beats that feeling it`s `your` bike.

 

Theres an inside view, you won`t have that in the back of your mind if its used.
