Not yet amigo. Probably Tomorrow or Thursday night.

Hard to go wrong with black, but they have the Red accent. I'd probably give Gold a shot.

Put those bad boys on and let me know how you like them.

I would go black because gold I just don't think would go good with your bright yellow and at least you have a red "i" on the fairings it could match.

I hate to ask this but how do you use the clutch, with 2 fingers or 3? I've tried both ways and 2 fingers doesn't quite feel right and there is just not enough room on the lever for 3 fingers so it feels really unnatural for me but I 2 finger the brake and it feels awesome.

Nate - Did you install yours this weekend?

I use three to clutch. My very outside finger is just right on the rounded portion of the clutch. I got used to it.

depending on the eBay seller you choose, the color combination can be customized for the lever/adjuster -- just read the auction details. i got mine done in all black, as the red would have looked totally out of place.

Mine came in today. Super easy to install I was surprised by that. I can easily use 3 fingers with them.

What all is needed for the install anyways?

City Bike Racing 05-09-2011 04:44 PM

well on my f4i all I used was a flat head screw driver and a pliers to grab the clutch cable that retracted in a bit to where i couldn't grip it with my fingers.

A flat head and a 10mm wrench for tighting the bolt. Takes about 5 mins to do the entire job.

Thanks for the input guys. Ill jsut have to pick a color when I order them then cause im still up in the air. lol

Kinda a long shot but can someone that has the shorties take a picture of their fingers on the levers so I can see how much room their is (preferably with gloves on). I have decent sized hands and I would think being able to use 3 fingers on the levers would be better....
