Default Second bike

Would the CBR600RR be a good second and last bike? I've started on a newYamaha Virago 250 for about two months and plan to buy the 2nd bike after riding this for about a year. I can brake/blip/downshift before the corner pretty well now. I took the MSF too and wear bright colorgear for visibility. I have looked at the FZ6 but even if I get it,I willwant to get that 600RR after about a few months on that FZ6 I think. How different is the insurance on the FZ6 comparing to the 600RR. The 650V is not very comfortable and V-twin are slow comparing to those inline 4 although they have better torque in the mid range, but I don't know if they would be such a big torque difference.[/align]

hehe RC51 has "such a big torque" =P

just remember RR's are going to be uncomfortable.

insurance differences shouldnt be very big increase - they are both 600cc's and pretty much insurance companies look at that. what you should do is just talk to your company and get a quote real quick, they will tell you.

I have thousands of miles on mine., ride it to work everyday and do 400-500 mile trips on it. Quit making blanket statements that are based only on an opinion.

sorry to make a correction but its 599cc and make sure to tell that to an insurence specialist when you get a quote it will make a difference.
i got my 600rr as my first bike and im sure it wont be my las anyhow i love it and i could picture it suiting sombadies needs as a last bike if you are wanting to stay with a 600rr. super uncomfertable but corbin makes good after market stuff of you could prob find a fabric shop that could do it for you, good luck and enjoy
