RE: RR's vs. Exotic's
From the "box", maybe not, but it IS possible. With a few mods (full race exhaust, PCIII-USB w/a correctly tuned map, aftermarket air filter, gearing and some other small ****), we'd run 10's all day, and possibly high 9's! It all depends on the rider, hell, just look at the new 800cc MotoGP bikes, already running faster times, both off the line and around the track than the 990cc bikes. Everything depends on the person who's running the bike. It's possible, VERY possible!

Yeah...I'm not saying low 9's, but high 9's are VERY possible. Like I said, it's the rider. You could have2 different peopledriving a Z-06, that'd do 12's all day, and one run like a 12.5 and then one run a 14.0. It all depends on the shifting, body position, etc. It's possible, like I said, I knew a guy who ran a 9.8 in the 1/4 on a 600. He works at the dealership here in town.

10.49 @ 133.3 mph and thats a pro rider, i highly doubt that your gonna take a stock RR or even midly modded one into the 9s esp when liter bikes are running high 9s and have 50 or so more hp.
rider does make a world of difference but there is only so much you can push a 600cc bike to

10.49, pro rider...I'm no pro by any means or I'd be out there with Duhamel, but I'm a pretty damn good rider. I knew that we could do 10's, easily, and I'll hold my ground, I think it's possible, on a good day, that we could do high 9's. I mean, okay, our bike's will do 10.49.....what's the point in everyone getting slip-on's or full race exhaust, K&N's, PC, pistons, etc.? To help make it faster, if they didn't help, the pros wouldn't use any mods, and so on...my point being, and as I already said, with a good rider and a modded bike, high 9's are very possible!

RE: RR's vs. Exotic's
on a heavily modded bike with a good rider anything is possible.
my point is your average everyday rider on a stock to slightly modded bike (exhaust, PC II, filter, etc..) is going to to be no where near 9s.
you said you've never run your bike at the track? well go do it. see how you do, its very difficult to launch and shift in great riding position at high speeds in less than 10 seconds.
not trying to bum you out but you seem to be a little more than optimistic. oh and that 10.49 is extremely good, thats not an everyday rider at all.....
