didnt you just buy an RR?
they are two completely different bikes.
F4i cruiser less aggerssive in every way , handleing, riding position, HP, looks... etc.. i think a better querstion is whats the same between them?

lol jesus christman, do a search on this. this is about the 18gazillionth time someone has asked this exact question :-p

yes, they are different in almost every way, but it is not much of a difference if you get what im saying. its like comparing the rr to an r6 or a zx6r, of course they're very different as far as parts and setup, but performance is similar.

the engine, frame, suspension, almost everything is different between the two, they don't share many parts at all, but the performance differences are subtle in real life.

the rr has a little more horsepower and torque

the rr's steering geometry and rider position are a little different from the f4i, and slightly more aggressive, though they feel infinetely different (a little goes a long way)

all in all, in a 1/4 mile drag race, the f4i usually runs just as fast, or close enough to where its a rider's race
the rr is sexier, lol

the f4i is a better street 600 imo

the rr is a bettertrack bike in experienced hands

I am not sure I understand you point? better is a point of reference, so what is your reference? the real gains to be seen from an RR are from experienced riders that know how to feel and use the difference. How much riding experince did you say you have?

For your average daily rider, and weekend warrior, the F4i is a fantastic bike that can and will perform as well if not better than the RR. If you ride alot, then the F4i can be considered the better bike.

Both bikes are fantastic.......

i agree. i have an 02 f4i and an 03 rr. both bikes are pretty similiar in performance. the f4i has no problem keeping up with the rr. the only difference you will notice is looks(obviously) and the ergo's. i actually think the f4i is a better overall bike and i love my rr.

i loved my '02 f41 and it actually felt faster/quicker accelerating on green lights. but the position stretched my arms making my wrists and back sore. the 05 rr feels lighter and i can ridein the more aggressive position all day long because i rest my weighthugging the tank. theyre both amazing bikes.
