How many of you are or know someone that is over 50 years old, who rides an RR?

 

there's a guy i ride with who's older than 50 but he's on a 2006 gixxer 600. very good rider i might add.

 

I'm 53

06- 600rr and HD 98 FXSTC currently in garage ( 2 completely different rides )

 

I'm 61, workout, weigh 195, 6'O". I ride a 2006 black CBR600RR and I ride it hard and fairly well. But, there is a guy on the Big Island, an Army Vet, who is 65. He bought a new 2006 Red and Black CBR1000RR at the end of May. He now has over 4,000 miles on it. He is sort of famous locally.....a really nice guy. He rides a lot.....both dirt and street. He told me that he red lined his CBR1000RR in 6th gear coming out of Volcano National Park on the long straight to Kau.....he told me the speed...but you can guess it. I don't know who reads this stuff. He had over 175,000 miles on his last Honda street bike. I really respect him. He wears all his gear and encourages others to ride well. So....all you young guys have a lot of years left!!! Take care of yourself physically and ride to till the years set in the west!

 

i have riden twice with a guy in his early 50's on a 1krr and man can he ride. Leans it to no ends(no strips left) can wheelie fairly good.

I'll be 41 in August.

 

yeah even some of us in our fifties can ride.my son in law got me back into it.it's the best. i can leave feeling bad and come back feeling good. but what ever age you are please ride w/in your abilities, and remember even a monkey can go fast in a straight line.
