Resistor Mounting

Those of you using resistors for your signals...where you mounting them?? I think I'm gonna mount mine to my subframe, but i wanted to see what everybody else is doing...pictures would be very helpful.

Thanks!

Yeah, I found a pretty decent spot to tuck them up into right by the connectors, I just need to think of how I'm going to secure them there. I spent about an hour or so saudering wires and crimping because the garbage hardware they send is crap. It's looking pretty nice though and functioning perfect though, so at least the electronics part of it is out of the way.

zip ties always work well...

Yeah, but the specific part of the subframe I found is enclosed and there's nowhere to put them....I could always just lenghthen the cables to a section 6 inches down that would allow for that though. Oh well, I'll figure it out.

Enclose them and put them where you cables come out ur battery box if you want to go that far back. Or you can mount by the tail light.

I "3M adhesive Double-stick taped" them to the underside of the subframe. Out of sight and away from any plastic pieces. They get hot, but I don't think they get hot enough to melt fairings (but, better to have piece of mind than constantly worrying about it.)

But that's only for the 03-06 600RR's. For the 07/08 models, resistors aren't needed at all. They'll do the fast blink thing perfectly fine without them. The only time you would need resistors on the 07/08's is if you want them to blink at the stock speed (which I think looks better, but the fast flash attracts more attention.)
