Does anyone know if there is a complete bolt on kit for the 05rr? i have found for the 03-04 but not the 05.... has anyone tried to fit a 04 body to a 05 frame? is is possible? any help would be appreciated. like to say great forum here, kudos people!

 

How about you just have someone paint if like that. It would probably be cheaper that way

well i believe i have answered my own question as to whether the 04 parts will fit on an 05... not without major modification. but i would still like to know if anyone has seen a complete repsol body kit for the 05. i have seen some very nice ones for the 04, but alas none for the 05s yet....

 

It won't be a problem fitting an '03-'04 fairing to '05.

I actually did a repsol replica scheme which was for an '03 to an '05 cbr 600.

You will need to get the air ducts for an '03, and you will need to get the '03 triangle pieces
for the front.

You will also need the rear foot pegs removed, and also you will need to convert the keyhole
at the back seat to somewhere else.

Everything else should fit exactly.
