can anyone recommend a place that I would be able to get the bolts and nuts that I need to replace the damaged ones that I ham handled off my bike?

I just got mine from the honda shop for about 10 bucks. Are you talking about the very lower cowl where it says Honda?.. Make sure you get the rubber pieces that hold the bolt in also. Thats the best place I can suggest.

 

Go to the dealership. They will have schematic pictures of your bike and you can pick out exactly what you need.
