also if you need to scrape in some places...make sure you DON'T use metal/razorblade....use a plastic one...not hard at all and makes it look like you have a cutsom paint job....I did it to my bike..check out my photos...hope it helps

yeah...it WAS...very minimal scratches....you can get all sorts of compounds that fill them in, wax, buff, gone

really...buff and wax? thats wierd i just took the stickers off my 03 rr and i needed to get the tank resprayed. after i wetsanded the top layer of clear off the stickers on the tank i peeled them off and it was like two different colors. i tried to fether the edges back on the top layer of clear to blend it in but it didnt work to well. i work at a car dealership so the manager in the bodyshope told me 100$ to respray the tank

you can barely tell on mine...unless total looking for wouldn't notice...the only thing was a small indentation where the decal started all the way around...ask at the car shop...they have stuff for minor scratches....no just waxing and buffing alone wouldn't do it

fyi - I will be having a custom paint done to the entire bike....like this look way better then the stock...but definately not show quality

but then again I just road ride with cruisers....I look so much better then they do no matter what....plus looks custom for free until the $ to make it out of this world

the warmer, the better (heat gun, blow dryer, even helps to drive around and let the fairings get warm) -- the decal will be less likely to tear and the adhesive usually comes off cleaner. to remove remaining adhesive i recommend acrysol or some other denatured alcohol.

If I may suggest, use a blow dryer not a heat gun. Takes longer but heat gun can melt the plastic.
