no problems on the rear pegs. took mine off myself... as for the FE, well... i think anything over $20 is outragous for what you get. i plan on making a template and selling kits myself but i am finding it hard to find time to do it.

As fas as the reservoir is concerned there are a lot of alternatives, the g-craft is one. Ilove it, looks great.

Yeah, for $130-$150 bucks.

I'll stick with my "custom" $15 dollar FE kit. Mine looks better too.

As for the original question. Took mine off as well. No problems.

/\ ditto on the price thing, holy crap thats costly.

I took mine off but after the crash im def gonna leave em on. Almost acts as a rear frame slider, just gotta paint em black.

does your homemade fender elim have a plate light, if not its pretty polish, and not really legal to ride with at not, unless your one of those anarcists than its cool to roll with illegal stuff, but my car and truck are both not street legal so my bike might as well not be... but honestly i dont know if i would have bought the gregs one bcuz of the price, but im glad the guy who i bought the bike from did.
