Default Rear Stand

Any suggestions on a rear stand. I had to do some work and needed to level up the bike and noticed the swing arm isn't level on both sides. The right side is lower... so we have to use spool stands, right? Does anyone know a good place to order one, for a good price?

Pitbull bike stand cost about $130 and it universal...with bikes that need spools or bike that don't need it..

I bought the Vortex Rear Swingarm Combo Stand and Anodized Billet Aluminum SWINGARM spools for $114 shipped. I checked out a couple local shops and the CBR doesn't use universal stands. The swingarm is not the same on both sides. I just thought some out here might need to know that, I almost bought a universal by mistake.

My 600F4i uses the Pitbull stand. The swingarm just sits on the stand. My 954RR has holes for spools, which I have not gotten yet. I had the same problem. The swingarm is not the same on both sides and the bike did not sit level side to side. I was able to use the stand behind the holes where the spools would install and get it to sit level, though I was worried it might slip off the stand. Once I get the spools and flip the ends over on the Pitbull stand, it looks like it will work perfectly. The Pitbull front stand works great on both the 600 and the 954. I hope this helps.

I actually shimmed up the kick stand and used levels on the floor area and the bike so I could measure both sides. It’s about a half an inch off, but damn that half an inch makes a difference on a stand. I plan on using the stand to work on the bike, oil changes and chain adjustments…. So I want it to be stable and sturdy enough to sit on.

Yeah, I hear you. That's why I am going to just get the spools. The bike should be very stable on the stand with the spools. Good luck!

I received my Vortex stand and spools today. Easy assembly and it's solid as a rock. The four wheels seemed like a better choice to me and it's easy for me to put it up by myself. Curt, nice rides ... are both yours? Post some pics so we can get a better look at them.
