i was looking into getting a 600rr. i have heard the passengers say that the seat gets very hot due to the exhaust right under the seat. has anyone ran into this or have i just been hearin bull****? thanks free07110

 

i wouldnt go so far as saying it gets hot. I would say comfortably warm at most. Way worth having the sexy design of an undertail exhaust. Plus yo will never sit on it and if it comes down to it for five bucks you get some insulation and put it in that teeeny tiny trunk you got. 600rr is by far the best 600cc bike out there. I never look back - unless it's to see all the chumps lagging behind me!

i've ridden with a passenger with two different people since i've had my 600rr... neither complained about the seat gettin' hot.

 

My girlfriend loves to ride. sometimes we put on over a hundred miles without stoppin and she has never complained.

 

ya i wouldn't say it gets hot. it does get a little warm though during the summer but who cares? you're on a CBR and its sexy looking
