Default Quick question please help!!!

Hello guys and gals I have a quick question about my 07 cbr600rr. I bought this bike used and I'm wanting to do a coolent flush. I realize that there is blue coolent in my reservoir now. I get the green 50/50 mix at work for free. I would like to know if I would do any harm to my bike if I flushed the blue out and then added the green to it? Would this do any damage to the bike? If not can you please let me know how much coolant these bikes hold? Thank you all for your time I appreciate it. If there's any riders in Monroe MI please contact me lol. I just got this bike and looking for some new riders thanks everyone!!!

Sure you can.

Color is not an issue, but what's in the coolant is. Honda pre-mix has de-ionized water in it and is silicate/ borate free for the aluminium. If your coolant is the same stuff, it'll be fine to use. However, Honda coolant is not that expensive, so there is no need to cheap out on it.Also, Engine Ice is a popular option to using coolant.

True... maybe I should just leave the blue coolant in then lol now is the honda coolant this blue color or is it a certain color? Basically what I'm trying to figure out is if I got the blue ice in my radiator or is it the honda coolant... I bought this bike used by the way and the dealer told me there not 100% sure which one it is. I really appreciate your help... thank you...

Honda has a blue coolant these days, but I'm not sure if it was what came in it from the factory. It's still the same, just different color.

Since nobody know what it is or how long it's been in there, I'd change it using engine ice or factory coolant, your choice.
