Default quick question, 03 600rr

Hey Everyone,

Just have a quick question about an 03 600rr that I want to purcahse this week.

Here is a copy of the ad detail:

"2003 Honda CBR 600RR Like New, Original Adult Owner, Always Garaged and Covered. Only 4300 Miles, New Rear Tire and 520 conversion with DID ERV3 Gold Chain and Sprocket Specialists Hardened Sprockets. Two Brothers Carbon Fiber C5 Exhaust. New Power Commander, Scotts Steering Damper, The Original Fender Eliminator, and matching seat cowl. Also Custom built front and rear leather seats handcrafted by Bill Mayer Saddles, and an extra set of second look seats. Also have all original parts, exhaust etc."

The bike has a clean title and I checked it out today and it looks brand new. Seller is asking $5500 firm I just think it might be overpriced for an 03. what do you guys think? jump on it, or keep looking?

any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Yeah, that sounds very good from here. But, you saw the bike and did the research.

That is low book...If the plastics are in good shape id get it. You will definitely be saving with all those aftermarket things done already.

That bike looks sweet. The tires look all Armour All'd up. I would scuff those before I would do any serious riding.

Also, what's the story as to why the seller is getting rid of such a nice CBR and at that price????

skical:

The guy wants to get a vfr, something for comfortable for himself and his wife on long rides. also, he has property taxes due this month, so that's the reason for the sale. So im going to pick it up this week.

Im thinking off taking of the dampner and power commander and selling them as I feel as if I dont really need them. what are your thoughts?
