I have an 07 6RR and need a set of rims for the track. I want to know if the 06 6RR will fit or if there will be issues. I havent been able to find anything using the search. Please help!

 

Everything I've seen is that the 05/06 are the same and 07/08 are the same, but not interchangeable.

 

does anybody know why they are not interchangable? Is it an issue with the wheel spacers? rotors? size? Im trying to figure out if there is anyway to make them interchangable.

 

I've heard on another forum that the rear rim from the 06 will fit an 07 but the front doesn't. I think the axle and spacers aren't the same size.

 

I just bought a rear off an 06 and its going on the 07. It appears to be the same size- all the dimensions are anyway. Ill know soon enough when I mount a tire on it and install it on the bike. I dont see why there would be a problem

 

It would only be width, spacers or rotor mounts. Let us know if the rear fits.
