Question about my 04 CBR600

I just bought a 04 CBR600 and the left side frame slider was broken when I bought the bike. When I turn on the bike it feels a little akward, like it is pulling or has some kind of force in the steering. I was wondering if when the bike was laid down did it bend the frame or mess with the balance of the bike to make it do this or is it normal? I had a 01 R6 a couple of years ago and it didnt do this.

could have something to do with it, you should have taken it to a dealer to look it over before purchasing it.

well im new to the whole world of bikes. but im not with cars. kinda goes with saying if noticing a problem or what u think is one. usually is. if u think u hear a ticking noise..you probably right..just cant hear it well enough yet. i would look into any steering and braking vibrations and problems..cause if could cost you a few bucks at the shop...and save your life.

take it to a mechanic or a dealer to get the steering stem checked, as well as the forks... doesn't sound like it's the frame... I mean you can pull the body work off and check to see if it's bent up it's usually pretty evident if the frame is bent because the none of the bodywork will line up right.. and the bike def. won't ride right.

I'd say the liklihood of something being "tweaked" is pretty high. You need to get it checked out ASAP. Safety is involved here until you know for sure what's underneath you.
