Hello fellow riders! Was curious if anyone has ever swapped out their anti-freeze for engine ice? If so, what are the advantages/disadvantages? Was hoping that it would cool things a little better for the in town rides and traffic jams. Any input on this would greatly be appreciated. THANKS!

i have a bottle that i bought for the upcoming season but i have no experience with it. From what i hear, it cools your cooling system by significant degrees. My friend has it in his r1 and his gf r6, he says it ran more than 40 degrees cooler and hasnt had any boilovers from sitting intraffic

 

im sure someone will let us know..i thought about putting some in as well but the price has me on the fence...if it works as claimed its well worth it but..lets hope someone lets all us know

 

it may help the bike run cooler, but you wont feel it sitting on the bike in traffic I dont think it will really make the bike run any cooler than anti-freeze. I think its mainly a non-silicate base that can be used in race bikes and wont slick up the track in the event of a crash n spill
